紫外光照射下铁锰物种对酸性橙Ⅱ的脱色研究
DECOLORIZATION OF ACID ORANGE Ⅱ BY Fe AND Mn SPECIES IN THE PRESENCE OF ULTRAVIOLET IRRADIATION

摘要: 以高铁酸钠原液对酸性橙Ⅱ进行氧化脱色,并对比了高锰酸钾在紫外光照射下的脱色能力.结果表明,254 nm紫外光照射提高了高铁酸钠原液与高锰酸钾的脱色效能,而且紫外光和高铁酸钠原液联合使用时,对染料的脱色速率是单独紫外光和单独高铁酸钠原液脱色速率的1.11倍,产生了一定的协同作用.通过对比紫外光照射下硝酸铁和硫酸锰的脱色能力,证明低价态的水合Fe(物种具有较强的光反应性,异丙醇淬灭试验证明产生了大量羟基自由基.另外,在所考察的pH范围内,无论紫外光照射与否,相对于硫酸锰和高锰酸钾,硝酸铁和高铁酸钠原液都保持了较高而稳定的脱色能力.Abstract: Sodium ferrate(Ⅵ)solution was prepared by wet oxidation method,and it was directly used for decolorization of Acid Orange Ⅱ under UV 254 nm irradiation in comparison with potassium permanganate.It revealed that the UV 254 nm irradiation could enhance the removal of color by both oxidants.The decolorization efficiencies of the combined process is 1.11 times that of UV 254 nm irradiation and sodium ferrate(Ⅵ)solution alone,which suggests a synergetic effect possibly caused by the photo reactivity of Fe(Ⅲ)species.The effect of ultraviolet was also investigated by addition of ferric nitrate and manganese sulfate.The results indicated that hydrolytic Fe(Ⅲ)species from ferric nitrate was more efficient for color removal.The subsequent iso-propanol quenching experiment proved the generation of a number of hydroxyl radicals.In addition,sodium ferrate(Ⅵ)solution and ferric nitrate showed a comparatively higher color removal in the presence and absence of UV254 nm irradiation in all the pH conditions examined in comparison with sodium permanganate and manganese sulfate.
