DETERMINATION OF TRACE AMOUNT OF MANGANESE IN WATER BASED ON THE DISCOLORATION OF METHYLENE BLUE

摘要: 本文提出和建立了一个新的催化动力学测定痕量锰的方法。它是基于在醋酸-醋酸钠介质中,锰对高碘酸钾氧化亚甲蓝褪色反应所具有的催化效应。在最佳条件下,用固定时间法,可测5—80ng/27ml范围内的锰。应用于水样测定,获得满意结果。Abstract: In this paper a new kinetic method for the determination of trace amount of manganese (Ⅱ) is described. It is based on the catalytic effect of manganese on the discoloration of the methy-lene blue caused by oxidation with periodate in acetate buffer. Under the optimal experimental conditions, trace amount of manganese(Ⅱ)between 5 and 80 ng/27ml is determined by the fixed-time method. The procedure has been applied to the determination of manganese in water with excellent results.
